KMART!!! =(

The big sign with the letter K, recognized anywhere. The aisles upon aisles of random merchandise. The talks of the blue light special going around. The place where my pajamas come from. Kmart. I will miss you. Why do you have to go? The store near me stood strong, toughing everything out, but now, it too has fallen. Now it is just an empty warehouse with nonreturnable memories.

I remember running through the aisles, peaking in between and under shelves. The first time I tried on a bra. When I got a pair of "winter" pajamas. Blue pants and a sweater with two cats on it. The cats were wearing crowns and sitting on a red, plush pillow. Wwwhhhyyyyy Kmart? Whyyyyy? Now, these memories are just that. Only memories. Of one of the awesomest stores. They will never be recreated. They are all gone. And I never even had closure!

Kmart had such low prices. Kmart had everything that you could think of owning. Why did it have to be crushed? It has been around for decades. Whereas the new and "hip" stores - only a couple of years. Why does the tried and true have to substitute new rubbish junk? Why can't shoppers see the beckoning and holy light of the big K?

Kmart, I will miss you so much. I wish you could come back. I wish I could still walk into your store, browse the aisles. If you ever do come back, I promise to never window shop from you ever again. I will ALWAYS buy something..... But these are only speculations. I miss you, Kmart. It is too hard to say good bye!

WoW Talk: Warlords of Draenor Leveling to 90

Hi interweb! How are you doing? I'm doing great! (See how I imitated Panser from the YouTube? That is because we are talking about World of Warcraft today!)

So the new expansion, Warlords of Draenor, is coming out on November 13th. Who is excited? I am excited! Are you? So apparently, it comes with great perks! I am not going to go into all the details, so I'm going to leave that to the "professionals"LOL. Anyway, here are some links for more information on the what? when? where? how? of WoD:
TradeChat's video on general WoD facts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmQbqkiAYSs
TradeChat's video on WoD level 90 boost: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7UxnGHshCI
An Explanation of the Boost from Gamestop: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/you-can-now-pay-60-for-a-level-90-world-of-warcraft-character/1100-6418216/

But what I want to address is the leveling. So, when you get WoD, you have a level boost. You can automatically just level a character from level 1 to level 90. Now, this is a little bit controversial among the gaming community.

On one hand, a new player can really see what the game is all about, get to socialize with more experienced players, and learn the ropes of their character. The abilities, the strengths and weaknesses, the lore, and basic stuff like that. They can explore their toons, and they can explore the game with the "cool crowd." I know I am always so happy and glad whenever I receive advice from more experienced players. And it generally can open a whole world for new people in a more convenient way. But of course, it comes with a cost. Of money, so Blizzard claims it is compensated. But it is an opportunity to see what it is like, and have other characters work up to that. So you are playing two games at once, if you are leveling other characters. You have the leveling game, and the actual game game.

But on the other hand, you just pay for an easy way out. Many older gamers have been around since the very first expansions, and they have worked at their characters to get them where they are today. Just taking the easy way out, instead of learning, questing, dungeoning, grinding. You could say that it just takes a big portion away from the game, and noobs will be noobing around in places of experienced players. These players worked at their characters. It took time. And in their eyes, if it could be as easy to level as paying up, then.... what is the point? What was all of that worth, then? It seriously looks like Blizzard is being a sellout here, just grabbing money wherever they can. Ripping off players, getting more greedy with every year. Many feel that the game is going bad, taking turns in the wrong directions.

And just for the record: I am in no way a pro at any of this. I am a noob at World of Warcraft. I admit it. I know only the tip of the Warcraft world and what it has to offer. There. I said it, so my standing is pretty clear. I do have to agree that it does make leveling very easy, and it is unfair to the older players. Even though if given the chance, I would boost to 90. Just because noob. Noobishness. So irony and hypocrisy rolled into one.

Complete List of YouTube Channels That Uploaded Leda's Videos

As stated before, Leda, or HaiLedaBear did stop making YouTube videos. Maybe she will come back. Fingers crossed that she will when she is happier and stronger. But then again, she might not. But she feels that she should get back in touch with her inner self, so she should do that, then. I wish her all the best. But there are still some videos out there for us, LOYAL subscribers to watch and reminisce on. Here are some channels that upload some of her more recent videos AS WELL as her old vidiess :))) (from her raver phase!) So here is a list of channels where you can see her videos! So take advantage of these channels and videos while you can!

Keep reading for a link to RARE SEEN footage of Leda! Like really rare!

1Kazkraze
Diana Violetdoll
ILuffLeda :)
LedaCandy
Leda Monster Bunny Videos
Leda Muir
MacyDino
MacyGoesRAWR
OldLedaPhotosAndVids
Tara Knight

MacyDino and MacyGoesRAWR are two channels managed by the same person. In my opinion, she is THE #1 source of old Leda videos just because she uploaded so many of them, and uploaded Leda's Keeks as well. She has the most extensive collection so far, as far as I know. So check her out most of all!

I know there are more users who uploaded Leda Muir's videos, but even though this is titled the "complete list," there are standards for making it on this list. These channels posted more or less a good amount of videos. Either that or they posted RARE footage, for which they are automatically on this list, and should be known. Yes there are more videos of Leda's photos, but those can be looked up easily, and they are not channels that are explicitly devoted to Leda.

This interview with Leda is also hilarious, and is more footage of her that would be of interest to her viewers: Bryan Stars. This is from her later times.

This interview, at VidbCon. LITTLE SEEN FOOTAGE.  (click here for interview)

This interview is with her ex-boyfriend Matt, but is also worth watching: Rock Forever Magazine.

And of course, Leda's chat with TradeChat: Girl-On-Girl.

Luvin Britney and Other Ishness

I love 90s and early 00s Britney Spears. I do. Even though nowadays people seriously look down on her, and others adore her now. Idk, I feel like the now Britney is eh. But seriously, I love her young teenage self. (Bree, do you even know what you sound like? Yup. I do. Eh, whatever.) And listening to her dropping hints EVERYWHERE and even coming out with a song about it, the whole crisis should have been seen coming. But I'm not going to get into that. Yuck yuck yuck. (Unless it was a conspiracy: the meltdown was planned by her managers and producers waaaay in advance in order to keep the media's eye on her as she goes bonk, and then builds up again, which does sound actually VERY realistic. Hmmmmm.)

Anyway, her dancing and her voice in Drive Me Crazy just aaaaah. Amazing. And there is Sabrina, the teenage witch in the video! But her live performance in Hawaii waaaay back when, yeah. I keep watching that over and over and over again. And I looove that dancer in the blue tank top with the shell necklace. Hehe. The one that stands right next to her. Didn't he appear in the Baby One More Time music video, too? Idk. Wish I knew his name. Back to the actual dancing, she is and was definitely a performer. The energy in every song, every dance, every video is contagious. Her dancers' energy also just soaks through, and energy EVERYWHERE. So contagious. It drives me crazy. Whenever anybody is with her, they loose their minds, and it is toxic. Yup, references. Three, actually. Oops, I did it again. :( :) :3

Britney sure knows and always knew how to dance. I wish I had teenager Britney's moves. Man, I am nostalgic now for a decade I barely even lived in. Meh. Oh well.

I feel like the pop culture of one decade builds off the previous one. (Le, duh. Hello Captain Obvious) But when one misses exposure to the pop culture in one's decade of birth, (like sooomebody here did), they are doomed growing up in the next decade simply because they are out of the loop. But it is true, the 00s were a weird decade, actually. Just looking back. They were just like: "Uuuh well there were the 60s and the 70s and the 80s and the 90s... now what do we do? let's just go with it and... try to be not as awkward as.... actually eff it." Wacko.

Update: I actually DID find out his name: TJ Espinoza. Yup. Thank you Britney tour. But there is A LOT of scoop on him, actually. And stuff going around. MAN he was an amazing dancer with a beautiful face. :O

Scatterbrained Post on Lord of the Rings, and... Something

Soo stuff is happening, needless to say. Ok. So, like every normal person (oh yeah totally) I have been looking for jewelry I would LOVE to have from movies. *cough cough LotR cough cough*. And I did find a few steals that sound very awesome.

Like this replica of Arwen's necklace from Ultimate Movie Costumes

Or the One Ring from Bonanza

Anyway, I am just in a very shopping mood right now.

My favorite character from Lord of the Rings is Smeagol/Gollum. Just saying. The author portrays the guy's tragic misery so well. And just by mere circumstances Smeagol turned into Gollum. If Frodo had not had Gandalf or Sam or Aragorn, he would have totally become Gollum as well. Gollum carried out what Frodo did not do: destroy the ring. Even evil spawns good, and it was really sad for me when Smeagol died. At least his tragic outcasted and abused life ended the pain for him.

I have been watching a lot of Sabrina The Teenage Witch lately.

Ok, this is just too scatterbrained. Here's a picture of a cat. The cat Salem from aforementioned show. Enjoy.

Noob at Playing Games but Still Ranting Meh

Age of Conan did not work for me. At all. I thought "oh yeah, free! I like!" That thing took 20 hours to download. ("ok. big game. I understand. can't wait to play it.") Made 5000 ads pop up after the download was complete. ("ok. they need to get their money from somewhere. I'm a little annoyed, but whatever.") When launched and played, it lags. Like, some bandit runs and starts attacking my character, and when she tries to defend herself, the combos only happen 5 minutes later. 2 seconds in, and I am dead. ("ok, maybe a glitch. here, I'll just restart it.") BOOM. Computer out of storage. ("ok, ok. I'll just delete everything, run disc cleanup, and download again.") 20 more hours. When the game starts running, I see polka dots, stripes, and random letters where there should have been a character. Or a leaf. Or something! ("but everybody talks about how great it is! Must be my computer.") Redownloads, starts game, computer crashes. OK SCREW THIS I GAVE IT ENOUGH CHANCES. Plays WoW. Game runs perfectly, computer doesn't crash. No ads. Too bad my wow addiction is costly hehe.

But in actuality, I am a very low level player in World of Warcraft. My main is 25, I want to say. Funny because all my other toons are druids. I use one druid specifically to play with my friend, and that is a level 15, I think. I have not played in a while :( My main is a Tauren Warrior, but I actually like playing Tauren Druid more. The druid can attack from afar, and can run faster in cat form, and use stealth. So, in the words of Panser, "Druids are bamfs." And when I am in a battleground, druid is easier to play, because I can attack from afar without being seen. I usually end up guarding the flag in stealth mode, but I have a lot to improve on. But warriors are fun, too. Idk, I got my warrior farther than any other toon, so I might as well keep leveling him. I also have a night elf druid that I completely abandoned. Oops, sorry. My bad. :/ :( :P :3

Stuff Happens... :P :/ :3

So there are people who are working on sending videos and messages for Leda. I hope everything will work out, because Leda definitely played no small role in many of our internet lives. Hypocritical, yes, but I just GOTTA say. I loved when Leda wore kandi and was so bright and colorful. She would cheer up my day. But that's beside the point.

There are also some YouTube channels that have some of Leda's videos. I probably talked about some earlier, but I found more. Ok MacyDino, MacyGoesRawr, LedaBear, 1Kazkraze, Joe Lando, Leda Muir (not actually REAL Leda, but a fan channel) on YouTube have some of her videos. Ok.

Now stuff happens. And stuff will happen. Sorry. And trying to come up with Halloween costume ideas, and doing school work. Ok byeee!

Small Rant on Lord of the Rings Books vs Movies

So, with the Hobbit movie coming out in December, (Read about it here!) I decided to do a little brush-up on my Tolkien. After reading the books, I watched the movies, even the Lord of the Rings ones (leh, duh. do you REALLY use THAT as an excuse to watch them? Seriously). Now, these movies irk many who've actually read the books. And yes, naturally, the movies irk me just a little bit.
First off, though, I must say how much I am obsessing over Aragorn and Legolas. Just crikey! They are beautiful creatures that do beautiful things! Though my favorite character overall, (book-wise) is Smeagol, I do love me some Strider and Greenleaf in the movies.

Speaking of Smeagol, Tolkien depicted him in the books as a creature fighting the ring, and fighting himself, but succumbing to the evil power greater than him. He was weak to start off with, and hence, easy prey. Because of that, he was a miserable outcast that could never REALLY go back to how he was before. The ring cut too deep into him, and though he still had goodness deep down, it was faltering even as he tried to strengthen it. The movie only portrayed about 42% of the complexity of Gollum's and Smeagol's character. Though I understand, this sort of moral ambiguity is EXTREMELY difficult to capture, I still wish it was better... somehow. I don't know. The book Gollum was better for sure.

And what was up with those added Arwen-Aragorn scenes? Yes, there was a love triangle in the books. But the books NEVER mentioned ANYTHING of their children, Arwen's vision of the future, Elrond not supporting their love, or any "elf heals human through a fancy hallucination when the said human is on the brink of death after a battle that never took place in the book." Seriously, it never happened. That is called fanfiction.

And what about Faramir? I could honestly go on a WHOLE RANT on how Peter Jackson did not show Faramir's character AT ALL, and how that really affected the plot. But, too bad there already are threads about that, so I'm just going to cover the basic fact, and then link some threads for you to check out. FARAMIR NEVER WANTED THE DAMN RING IN THE FIRST PLACE! He would not have taken it ever, because he knew that he would not resist the ring's power. He was not like Boromir at all, and he would not have even come close to repeating Boromir's mistake. He did not take Frodo and Sam anywhere out of the hideout cave, much less to Isengard to give the ring as a present for his father. Nope. No! He was gentle and kind to Frodo and Sam, and to Gollum once he scurried into the pond to catch fish. In the movie, he was harsh with Frodo and Sam, and when Gollum was brought in, his men repeatedly hurt Smeagol with physical violence and harsh words. That went against the very nature of the men of Gondor! Like whaaaa? And on the final note, when Faramir released Sam and Frodo, he was told that he would be executed for releasing prisoners.... He was never killed. Peter Jackson made that whole part up, and did not even have the consistency to go through with it! Like, no! PJ, you best get your ish together for dat Hobbit movie! :3

But even though his movies are flawed, I am still SOO SUPER DUPER EXCITED FOR THE BATTLE OF FIVE ARMIES! XD

Link for interesting Faramir thread is here :3

Peace out XD

Thoughts on YouTube & Ze Dead Stuffs

I wrote only about YouTube so far. Hehe guess where I spend most of my time, huh? Anyway, this blog really is on my opinion, and because of past events, yeah heh, it's there. So yeah, my thoughts on YouTube, just in general.

YouTube has really grown in such a short time. In 2000, Google bought a website practically nobody ever heard of. In that relatively short time, it EXPLODED. Look at YouTube today. So many different people, so many different channels, so many videos. But is it really for the better?

You could literally be lost among the traffic on YouTube. It will swallow you up. And if not, if you stay afloat, the people will roast you alive. When I first started using the internet in elementary and middle school, the communities were rather small, and people were given support. It was a positive vibe, and it rarely got out of hand. You had pretty awesome, genuine YouTubers who kept it REAL. Now, not so much. Sure, there are some oldie but goodies that stay true to themselves, but those are rare and scattered. Now, almost everybody is some kind of vlogger.

Take the Beauty Guru community, for example. Back in the day, those girls gave actual tutorials. They were actually helping, and that was why viewers kept coming back. Nowadays, you see a makeup tutorial for practically EVERYTHING. Who needs that much makeup tutorials for the SAME EXACT smoky eye? The older beauty gurus, running out of material, decide to review and critique and advertise products. Make a 7 minute video about 1 product. *cough cough juicystar07 cough cough allthatglitters21 cough cough michellephan cough cough ilikeweylie cough* They became sellouts. Even Queen Beeauty, THE guru of her time, left because of that very reason.

YouTubers now get so much hate. Queen Beeauty did. TradeChat does. Jlovesmac1 does. Leda did. The YouTube community is just filling with more and more negativity. Yeah, haters gonna hate, but today there is 10x the many haters of 4-6 years ago. People were more supportive and positive. Back then, somebody was MORE likely to exit out of a video than troll and offend in the comments. Back then, only responsible individuals had access to the internet. Now, everybody, sane, insane, troll, serious, hater, fan can comment like no tomorrow.

YouTube also used to be so much more about individuals just filming funny or otherwise entertaining stuff. When it literally was "Broadcast YOURSELF." Now, companies can make accounts and advertise. Already famous people can just keep their fame going. YouTube was more about the YOU back then, more so than now. You could even interact with people more, back then. You could actually give stars, rather than just a thumbs up or down. You could look in the sidebar, rather than the bottom bar. So much more convenient. You used to message over YouTube. And whatever happened to actually NAMING your channel some crazy name, instead of just putting your Google+ name? Seriously. The whole thing was just smaller, more individualized.

Also, YouTube used to be more diverse and unique. When before, people who made videos were fun but DIFFERENT people. Nobody heard of YouTube yet, so only the "antisocial" people (if you can call them that, but I personally prefer unique) made videos to put on the internet. Nowadays, any plain ole Joe can put out videos that have nothing special about them, content wise.

So YouTube definitely changed, but imo for the worse. I thought about making videos, but now, I really don't know. I don't really want to become part of that. I guess I sound like such a hipster, but I will be looking for something less mainstream.

More Tangents on Leda

Leda has been on the internet for so long, that I feel she lost herself in it. As many of her viewers noted, Leda was VERY fluctuating and shifting. Though many viewers claim it was from her boyfriends, I think the viewers themselves played a BIG role in it.
There was always at least one comment on every single video that asked her to change, or "be more (insert adjective)." Some were telling her to "grow up," while others "missed her scene/raver phase." Some supported her going into her "anime" phase, some supported her "fantasy" phase, some supported her "witchcraft" phase (whatever that is supposed to be). Leda was always getting mixed opinions, and DUH, ANYBODY would be confused by that alone! Leda stated in her goodbye video that she "tried many different things," regarding videos. That meant exactly what it said: she tried many styles, many approaches, and she did not like where she was going. So good job, haters. You got what you wanted.
Leda did not enjoy making youtube videos, and it was clear for a long time. When she started REALLY changing and abandoned her channel for that period, it was crystal clear. And there is nothing out of the ordinary about that. Anybody would only do something they genuinely enjoy. She sacrificed. Put yourself in her shoes.
As one comment said, she was officially bullied off the internet. She had so many negative comments, and it is horrible what people could say when they think they are being "anonymous." Yeah, no. You never are. It will be found out, eventually.
That being said, I do love Leda so much. She deserves to be happy, just like anybody else. A year, two years ago, she was pretty happy, and it showed. Her videos were AWESOME. I wish Leda a good and speedy recovery from the emotional scars that the internet gave her. I hope she can pick up and go on with her life. Even though YouTube was a big part of her life, it changed and stabbed her. For the time being, yes she does need to cut it out of her life and heal herself. A shaman can't heal a paladin when the said shaman's own mana is low. Currently, Leda's mana is near zero, sadly. But Leda should realize that even though she got so much negativity, she has many supporters who respect her and would never bring her any harm. Good luck, Leda. May you heal and flourish like the White Tree of Gondor.

P.S At least she did not one of her accounts :) It is still there! Yay! Won't tell you which one though, lol haha ;) hey, it is her choice, her privacy, though sooooo....

TradeChat Thoughts of Le YouTube

She has wacky hair, and loves World of Warcraft. She was on the first season of King of the Nerds. Her YouTube videos center around video games and pc games. Her channel name is TradeChat, and her online alias is Panser. She is amazing at what she does, and should keep doing it. Her videos are funny, to the point, and VERY informative. She stands and talks to her audience very much like a solid news anchor who knows what she is doing. Go her!

But the videos that REALLY reel me, personally, in are the ones where she relaxes, where she interacts, when she acts like her natural self, and we really get to know more about the person behind the "YouTube mode gamer Panser." In her Girl-on-Girl interviews, Panser really just talks and holds a conversation, a chat, with various awesome people. In her Derpcraft series, she and Iamchiib quest in World of Warcraft, while chatting and generally derping around everywhere. These kinds of videos, I love, and find myself watching again and again. The more rigid and informative ones, I kinda eh, gloss over, unless it is on a topic I am looking for more information on.

And I LOVE how Panser and Leda are friends! They just work so well together! If you haven't seen my earlier post, I do love watching HaiLedaBear. Here are two videos of Leda and Panser together. They are just so AWSUM <3!

Panser and Leda Girl on Girl Interview Video. Go watch it, it is one of my faves, and is hilarious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9WEA8uc94w

HaiLedaBear, LedaMonsterBunny, Ledafknbanana. My Wish.

After a long morning, I sit in the afternoon, and decide to check up on one of my favorite youtubers: HaiLedaBear. A quick youtube search does not bring up any of her own videos. Questioning, I move on, and search again. This time, the first video that comes up is titled "I love you guys infinitely." There are no other links to Leda's actual channel. I decide to watch the video, and open up to a crying Leda with pink hair, pouring her heart out.
Twitter account deleted, blog deleted, all youtube videos deleted. Nothing left. Gone. All in a couple of days after her channel started to pick back up. Her viewers are left questioning, guessing, and searching for more answers. Looking through the comments on the video, I see many comments of genuine subscribers, sorry for her pain and sorry for her departing. I see unconfirmed rumors (that actually just MIGHT be true, but not confirmed by Leda as to my knowledge) of her and her family being sent death threats. I see many people who encouraged Leda to stop making videos. I see her being called "immature and stupid."
Leda has a history of being hurt by these people. She made multiple "proof" videos on her old channels, the most recent one/two years ago. She was hacked multiple times on her channels. She once made a video titled "Wish" because people were getting to her, and hurting her. She was made fun of in the comments of her videos. Many people hurt her before, and keep doing it to this day, even after she deleted everything.
Not only are her haters crazier than many other youtubers'. Her fans are also pretty extreme. Old pictures of her were hunted down from MySpace accounts, PhotoBucket accounts, and Instagram. They never stop. They want more, more, and more. They creep on her, discuss her past. They want answers to questions that came up but never answered. Nothing was ever forgotten with LedaMonsterBunny. Every move of hers would be found and published to other eager fans. At least now they came in handy. At least now we could be left with something of Leda, like a ghost of YouTube past. When videos were genuiner, when  she was happier.
I loved watching Leda. I could watch her for hours, and I, too, was sad when her channel drifted off for a while. And I was glad when she started back up. Leda was my inspiration. She made me want to make YouTube videos, myself. Now, I guess I don't really want to. What is the point? The prime of her time, the one I adore, passed. YouTube now is not what it used to be. Leda was hurt by today's YouTube. I guess we can't live in the past, and have to accept that no matter how difficult, everything goes on. Nothing is permanent.
It does not mean that I don't miss the girl with the Pokeball tongue piercing, who taught us how to put makeup on while listening to Ghost Town (won't be able to listen to their music without thinking of her), wearing kandi bracelets, playing WoW, fangirling over the Lord of the Rings, and saving cats. I will. I wish her the best of luck. I wish her happiness and prosperity. I hope she finds what she is looking for, and I hope she will never shed a single tear ever again. I hope she will have many good times with her friends from the present and from the past, with her family, with her cats. I wish her the best. I will miss her.
